2012 International Rhoda G. Sarnat Award Presentation

NASW Foundation President and NASW Chief Executive Officer, Elizabeth J. Clark, presented the International Rhoda G. Sarnat Award to Frederic G. Reamer on April 12, 2013.
The International Rhoda G. Sarnat Award is given to an individual, group, or
organization that has significantly advanced the public image of professional
social work. This monetary prize is made possible from an endowment fund
established by a generous contribution in 1996 from Mrs. Rhoda Sarnat, LCSW and her spouse, Bernard
Frederic G. Reamer is Professor in the graduate program of the School
of Social Work, Rhode Island College, where he has been on the faculty since
1983. His research and teaching have addressed a wide range of human service
issues, including mental health, health care, criminal justice, public welfare,

The award presentation was made at the Hyatt Regency Washingotn on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. during the NASW annual leadership meeting. Dr. Reamer also made a presentation on "Ethics & Technology" to the meeting participants.
