The NASW Foundation hosted the 2026 NASW Social Work Pioneers® Reception to honor the 2025 and 2026 classes of NASW Social Work Pioneers®. The reception brought together honorees, social work leaders, colleagues, family members, and friends to recognize the Pioneers’ remarkable achievements and enduring contributions to the profession.
The evening included remarks from NASW and NASW Foundation leadership, the presentation of Pioneer awards, sponsor recognition, and an opportunity for guests to connect and celebrate with the honorees.

As part of the 2026 NASW National Conference, the Pioneering Paths Symposium created an opportunity to elevate the voices and expertise of NASW Social Work Pioneers® within the conference program.
