Phillip Hong, PhD, MSW, MA

Phillip Hong is currently the Dean of the University of Georgia School of Social Work. As associate dean for research, a position he has held since 2018, Hong established a grant and scholarship development office that helped increase extramural funding by more than 200%. He also supported faculty in establishing three externally funded research centers, formalizing four externally funded training institutes, and sustaining three externally funded community-engaged programs.
